Bharatha Darshana-an insight into Bhava, Raga and Tala , A School of Indian Classical Dance and Music , was founded in Chennai, India in 1988 by its  Director Guru Smt. Nagamani Srinivasa Rao ,  fondly called by her students around the world as "Mani Akka". 

The institute currently operates in Bengaluru, India  and USA (Houston, TX & Atlanta, GA).  Smt Nagamani has worked with her brother and legendary Bharathanatyam Guru  Padmashri Adyar K Lakshman , one of the few eminent persons to have had the gift of  learning directly from Smt Rukmani Devi Arundale, founder of Kalakshetra. 

Soujanya Madhusudan  a well accomplished and talented dancer, teacher and choreographer, also the daughter-in-law of Smt Nagamani, and the institute’s Associate Director, has established its branch in the USA. 

Bharata Darshana has been serving the sacred art of Bharathanatyam by imparting this knowledge in its pristine purity – the world famous  Kalakshetra Style .

Students of Bharatha Darshana have extensively performed in many prominent sabhas and also have competed in many competitions and have won many prizes and awards.

The institute offers the following classes: In Cumming, GA -  Bharatanatyam, Carnatic Vocal  and  Mridangam  Classes In Houston, TX ; Pearland, TX -  Bharatanatyam  Classes In Bengaluru -  Bharatanatyam  and  Nattuvangam  Classes
